Subject:Assistance With Marked Chinese Cloisonné Vase

Hello All,

I am rather new to collecting vases, or perhaps just getting into collecting them. I have yet to make a purchase. This base however is appealing and was recently offered to me.

Any remarks? Translations? Period? Quality?

Steve, those thumbnail-size images ain't gonna cut it for reading the mark, which is in seal script I think. With eyes squinted to the limit, the vase looks a bit like a Japanese "silver foil" (ginbari) type, but larger pictures are needed.

I appreciate your reply and will certainly try to retrieve more photos from the seller.. This is all that was provided to me.

I do respect your opinion and once I get a few extra photos.. I will upload them.
