Hi
I would like to identify this statuette bonze and know its origin, age and what it represents.
The statuette is 40 cm high.
Thanks a lot for your help.

This statue is probably Jade Girl (玉女) or sometimes known as dragon girl (龙女) and is always accompanied by a Golden Boy statue (金僮). They usually accompany Taoist immortals but most people would associate them with the goddess Guan Yin who is sometimes shown flanked by the Golden Boy and Jade Girl.

I am no expert on bronzes but from the image of the girl and the way it has been sculpted, I would say that this statue is 20 century.

Hope this helps.
