Picked up this Chinese brass vase at an estate sale. I don't know anything about it, but it's very solidly made, I think that it is two pieces welded together at the base, the vase form itself and the bottom. There are several characters engraved into it as well as floral motifs. As far as I know of the patina is natural. I've got some pictures here, I apologize for the poor quality. There are more characters engraved on it than is shown bit those are the best pictures I have of the characters at the moment. There are also some curious markings on the bottom that looks like they were scratched in, but it's not in any language I recognize. Any info or questions are welcome!
