Chinese porcelain "vase" |
Posted By: James Posted Date: Jun 11, 2007 (12:06 AM) |
Message Hi all, I know next to nothing about Chinese porcelain, but last week I picked up this "vase" at an antique market in China. I liked it because of its somewhat rustic drawing, and the colour palette seemed nice than many. I would be grateful if someone could share any information about this vase. I couldn't understand the shop-keeper, but he seemed to be indicating that it was "old". If it is not old, it seems to have been made to look old. Does anyone know the time and conditions under which it might have been made? Any information would be appreciated. Regards, James. |
