Message I saw this piece on your web site and would appreciate some clarification on the manner in which it is advertised. It is listed as "Translucent Yellow Sonorous Jade Used As Musical Instrument - Ancient Lapidary Artist", and again confirmed as, "Artist: Ancient Lapidary Artist". The ad further states: "This original sculpture is currently for sale", and to "Please contact the artist directly to inquire about purchasing this original". If this piece is truly the work of an "Ancient Artist", and was collected by Marvin George between 1907-1909, what would be the best way to contact the artist? He must certainly be quite old by now, and I expect there could be a language problem, but may it be worth the effort. Is it possibe to contact the "Ancient Artists" of some of your other advertised pieces? If so, a confirmation of a piece from "the "Ancient Artist" would be a wonderful provenance for one's collection. Roger Post a Response |
