Subject:Re: Antique Chinese Charger
Posted By: Bill H Mon, Jun 10, 2013 The mark reads down and across from the top right as "Yong Sheng Cai Ci Chang Zhi" (永勝彩瓷廠製), which may be translated as "Made by the the Yongsheng [Eternal Victory] Ornamented Porcelain Factory". This factory operates in Hong Kong and possibly another location in China, decorating and refiring ceramic blanks made on the Mainland to produce attractive decorative items such as yours. The link leads to further info. |
