Subject:Plate/Charger
Posted By: Robert Fisher Sun, Jul 19, 2015 IP: 172.56.11.206 I sell items on ebay, and im still learning about asian antiques. I have a plate/Charger i was hoping someone could give me any information on. |

Posted By: Bill H Wed, Jul 22, 2015 The design on the back isn't what sells a dish like this. You may have been looking at a true antique hand-painted charger that sold for $750 on eBay. Yours is an early-to-mid-20th century transfer-decorated piece, which usually is a less desirable format. Here are a couple of auction results, one for a charger similar to yours and another for one that seems to be just like it. As you can see from the selling prices, neither one is very close to $750. |
