Posted By: Guy Tue, May 24, 2016 Japanese woodblock 19th century print indeed. The text reads 公主百花羞 - Kôshu Hyatsukashû, or Princess Hyatsukashu (in Chinese Princess Baihuaxia) - one of the characters of the Chinese classical novel 'Journey to the West' (in Chinese 'Xi You Ji or Hsi Yu Chi'; in Japanese 'Saiyûki'). |
