Subject:Meiji period bronze?

We came across this beautiful bronze bowl/pot/planter in the Hamptons a few weeks ago. We really like it but cannot decipher the name on the bottom for the maker. It is 11" across the top, 10" high and weighs 17.5 lbs

You’re right identifying this as Meiji period - the mark is for the Yoshida Workshop, which operated from the 1870s - 1880s in Kyoto. The mark reads 「大日本」(Great Japan) 「吉田造」(Yoshida-made) 「京都」(Kyoto).

Bottom marking reads,
大日本　吉田造　京都　Dai-Nippon Yoshida-zō Kyōto
Greater Japan Made by Yoshida Kyōto

Yoshida Foundry has been in business in Kyoto from the beginning of Meiji to 1917 for three generations (Yoshida Taikichi, Komakichi and Kenjirō)

Mark of the Kyoto workshop Yoshida, reading 大日本　吉田造　京都　(Dai Nippon - Yoshida zô - Kyôto).

The workshop of Yoshida in Kyoto was already active during the early Meiji period, producing bronze jardinières (suiban), vases, gongs and ornaments for both domestic and export markets.

His work was shown at the 1876 International Exhibition in Philadelphia.

what does it mean?
My mark is with vegetal lateral design ?
