Subject:Re: Help with mark on Yixing vase and necklace pendant
Posted By: Brett Wed, Apr 25, 2018 So I think I found out the maker of the vase by searching around. It looks pretty spot on with a mark on a Yixing mark website attributed to Tie Hua Xuan. Dated to the republic period. This makes a lot of sense because after re-examining the picture of the bottom I posted, you can see the black smudge is actually the word CHINA. Looks like similar marks found on exports in the early 20th century. |
