Posted By: Bill H Wed, Mar 26, 2014 The bottom bears a mark of "Wan Yu" (玩玉 - "Jade Trinket"). While the mark was used during the Kangxi Reign (1662-1722), your rice pattern bowls with painted and gilt embellishments probably are no older than the early 20th century and perhaps were made much more recently. |

Posted By: Bill H Sat, Mar 29, 2014 This mark, when flipped 90 degrees clockwise, reads down and across from the right as "Zhongguo Jingdezhen Zhi", "Made in China at Jingdezhen". Definitely a late 20th century mark. |
