The first doesn't have a signature. I think I've seen it before and it is the middle panel of a triptych, but I don't remember the artist. The second is an actor print by Utagawa Kunisada before 1844 (when he started signing as Toyokuni). If you can get better pictures of them, you can use Google Image Search to look for them. For the Kunisada, you can look at the Kunisada site below.

Cheers,
Stan

Kuniyoshi's signature is present in the lower corner left.

You're right. I missed it trying to give a quick answer. I thought it was Kuniyoshi but couldn't find the print in the short time I had.

Cheers,
Stan

The first woodblock print was designed by Utagawa Kuniyoshi (1798-1861) and published by Fujiokaya Hikotarô, probably late 1830s. It depicts Kintarô killing a panter in the mountains.
The second print was designed by Utagawa Kunidada (186-1865)and published 1830s by Yamamotoya Heikichi. This actor print depicts the kabuki actor Nakamura Utaemon (probably Utaemon IV) performing on stage.

Is there any chance either of you have seen this signature before? It is a painting I am pretty sure.
And thank you for your previous responses.

This is a Chinese painting. You should start a new discussion and include that info in the title to attract rat's attention.

Stan
