Subject:Chinese cloisonné vase
Posted By: GG Tue, Dec 20, 2016 IP: 61.18.218.7 I have no knowledge of cloisonné, can anyone advise the possible date of this vase? The pattern looks quite modern to me, is it a 20th century production? Thanks in advance for any comment! |

Posted By: Guy Wed, Dec 21, 2016 I'm not sure but IMO this could be early Meiji (late 1860s - early 1870s) Japanese cloisonné (dorô-jippô technique?). |

Subject:Agree with Guy - Meiji Japan
Posted By: beadiste Sat, Dec 24, 2016 I don't know enough about Japanese cloisonne to pin down the exact decade, but Guy's estimate seems likely. |
