Message This is an Interesting Chinese Blanc De Chine White Porcelain Two Piece Bowl. When just looked at under normal light the Bowl appears pure white with a finely detailed incised white Five Claw Dragon and Phoenix design to the outside, along with an attached porcelain base rim with lotus decoration. But once some light is put behind it, or it is held up so sunlight the Bowl has an Interesting and Amazing hidden inner design. The design includes a Blue Five Claw Dragon and Phoenix Chasing a Pearl with Red Flame designs, and also a Large 2 Character mark. The Carved Wood Base is a nice Antique example and fits the Bowl perfectly for display. I bought it online at a pretty high price, but still can not tell anything about its age, and production background. I will really appreciate that experts could comment. The image size is big, so I use the image link. Link :images Post a Response |
